It's been a while. Currently I am working on a project for my thesis. It's about a parallel program that runs on a multiple processor and able to perform on Sun Grid Engine. After a week, the Sun Grid Engine is working on the Sun Fire v880. And now I have to port a program for inferring phylogenies to run on the machine and utilize all four processors. It's a long way to go.

Since last week, I barely went home. Putting too much energy on work but it pays. Until I got sick for three days. But that doesn't stop me. Lucky I co-rent a house here near UPM. Don't have to go all the way across KL to get to Sg Buloh to sleep or to get shower.

So many things that I learn this few days, but there's more.. Hope in the future I can jump into supercomputer area, code for complex calculations and computations.

Tapi sekarang tengah buang masa sekejap. Tadi duduk dalam bilik server 5 jam. Cukup lah. Sejuk sampai jari rasa nak patah. Sambil blog, sambil sniff hotspot area.. :-p

Yahoo Accounts Got Stolen

Some of my friends have been complaining lately about their lost Yahoo account.

To get the account information of a user, the hacker can use a password-stealing trojan horse. If the password for the instant messaging client is saved on the computer, the attacker could send a trojan to an unsuspecting user. When executed, the trojan would find the password for the instant messaging account used by the victim and send it back to the hacker. The means for sending back the information to the hacker varies. They include using the instant messenger itself, IRC, and email.

Pertama sekali aku takde pun menuduh secara spesifik atau tuju pada majoriti, tetapi logiknya cuma segelintir. Melainkan kalau ada yang terasa, elok lah ambil iktibar dan tidak memandang dari sudut yang kurang sihat. Ia realiti dan memang berlaku.

Aku bukan genius dan masih banyak perlu belajar beb. Seperti tulisan sebelum ini. Memang benar. Kebanyakan orang sukar menerima teguran.Kenapa perlu bimbang sekiranya anda tahu apa yang anda buat. :p dan takde pun aku tulis bodo. Bodo tu hina sangat dan tak sama makna dengan tak konfiden or idea hampeh or pembazir bla bla yada yada..

Kelmarin merupakan hari yang paling aku tak berapa suka seumur hidup aku. Tak boleh nak cakap benci sebab semua yang berlaku tu adalah kehendakNya. Kalau aku marah-marah, kira macam marah Tuhan. Semua muslim kena ingat tu. Jangan lupa. Apa yang berlaku biarlah aku seorang yang tahu. I moved on and I am forgetting things behind - masa, wang dan tenaga yang telah dibazirkan begitu sahaja.

Semalam aku pergi UPM untuk taklimat student-student yang akan buat thesis. Aku patut buat thesis sem lepas, tapi aku postponed ke sem ni sebab aku tak nak zip kan kerja, lecturer dan thesis dalam satu sem. Boleh koyak. So semester ni namanya semester extend ahakz! Dulu aku ni malas nak embil subject banyak-banyak. So aku ambil subject sikit-sikit - jumlah kredit pun sikit. Tu sebagai cara membantah stail orang atasan yang nakkan bebudak sains komputer study selama 3 tahun. Dia ingat orang yang study komputer, otak laju macam komputer? Ingat ilmu komputer sikit ka?

After taklimat semalam, aku call Muhaimin dak master nih sebab nak main basketball. Dah setahun setengah tak main, ditambah pula dengan tak stretching, hmm. Cram. Kao kao punya - sampai sekarang sakit. Petang ni plak Nan, member opis ajak futsal. Tah nak pergi ke tak. Karang kalau buat team kalah tak sedap pulak kan.

Malam semalam ada perjumpaan kelab LC. Aiseymen aku tak boleh cerita banyak lagi sebab baru first time join perjumpaan diorang. Tapi apa yang aku leh describe, this club memang best dan 'selamat'. Hehe. Next time aku akan letak la gambar and some stories. Memang best. Memang. Memang.

Ni tengah nak polish balik foundation aku pasal Virtual LAN. Dulu masa kecik-kecik aku pernah buat sekali dengan IPv6. So sebab buat start buat projek yang baru meletihkan, aku join venture untuk settle kan VLAN antara fakulti sains komputer dengan institut matematik. Budak practical lepas buat tapi tak fully siap. Hmm. Kena study jugak apa progress yang derang buat. Apsal dah tiga bulan praktikal tak dapat siapkan? Ini sure banyak masalah birokrasi. Biasa lah kan. Orang atas nak kita buat sesuatu untuk dia orang tapi had kan akses. Ayam. (saja nak cakap. takde kene mengena pun)

There was a time not long ago, I did not even touch my PowerBook for nearly two weeks. No logging into internet at all. I don't exactly sure why. But today, I fall in love again. Had a holiday i guess.

Tired. I have been here in the faculty since 5pm. Because bandwidth is the factor hehe. 223KB/sec downstream that I can't resist. I just finished download 4 Debian CD for PowerPC (to replace my Gentoo). Well after a bit thinking since brother Adli said that recompiling numerous time would shortened the disk drive. So, I better take steps.

Since this is the beginning of the semester, let's hope that the lecturers here come up with a bit updated and interesting things in their lectures. Amen ;p

RSS dan Safari 2

Seronok betul eh aku. Bayangkan semua content kat dunia ni aku dapat kumpulkan dalam satu page. Pastu aku boleh susun ikut sesuka hati aku. Aku boleh tahu berita mana yang aku belum baca, berita yang baru keluar hari ni atau semalam. Inilah teknologi RSS bagi yang belum tahu. Atau yang pernah dengar, tapi buat dek je. RSS ni bermaksud 'Really Simple Sindicate'.

Aku guna teknologiologi ni dalam Apple Safari. Hayoo, sorry la, aku belum explore macam mana RSS dan Microsoft Internet Explorer. Tapi gaya Safari melayan RSS buat aku rasa teramatass puas hati. Haha, best. Sebab tak perlu bazir bandwidth, masa dan tenaga pergi ke semua website satu persatu. Aku ada jugak groupkan RSS untuk blog-blog member. Senang kalau nak tau blog-blog yang diorang baru tulis. Bayangkan kalau site tu banyak iklan-iklan, kira RSS ni dia ambil kisah content je.

It's been a while. Yesterday is the opening day of a new semester. Guess I will be very busy for another few days - job, study, thesis. Hope I'm getting better at time management, skill that everyone keeps improving everyday. Here is my important+urgent to-do list: 3 client reports, proposal and ********. Ops, something came up. Later!

Back! I want to say a bit about the final yesterday. It was a great game. Deserved for final. Italy was solid during, and France really entertained me on the second half. But Zidane...uh, I really hate to say this. Disgraceful. Why can't you think much further before headbutting that Italian tits. Id id not expect that he will end his international career with a red card. What a disgrace. Anyway, you got the Golden Ball award you deserves.
